When you Arrive -Spring
This page informs you about what you need to do when you arrive on campus.
Checking In
Please note that if you are arriving via plane, there is no MIT shuttle service to campus from the airport. Most students travel to campus from the airport via taxi, Huber or MBTA. You will get off at Kendall Square in the MBTA Red Line if taking the train to campus.
Transfer students starting MIT in the Spring arrive sometime during the end of the week prior to the start of classes. They arrange their arrival date and details with MIT Housing and the Undergraduate Advising Center. You are encouraged to reach out to residence@mit.edu with specific questions.
Once you obtain your MIT ID you can proceed to your dorm. The front desk will provide you with a room key and directions.
