Congratulations and welcome to MIT!
We realize that transferring is different than entering college as a first-year undergraduate, so here we provide you with information to help you transition to MIT.
Transfer Student Information
The Office of the First Year manages all orientation programming for incoming transfer students. Our role is to prepare you for your arrival, and to make sure that you have the information and support that you need for a smooth transition to MIT. This site provides details about orientation, academics, as well as, Before You Arrive and When You Arrive action steps.
COVID-19 has caused many disruptions that have impacted universities, including MIT. Content on this web site is subject to change, based on new and updated information received by MIT. You should proceed to review the current pages as you normally would, until further notice. We will make sure to communicate with you promptly on any changes that may affect you. We are here to support you, and appreciate your patience during these uncertain times.
If we can help you in any way, please email Leslie Bottari.
