Parent Orientation Program
MIT Parent Orientation will take place on Sunday, August 25 and Monday, August 26. Parent Orientation is a great way to get a glimpse of the many different experiences that your student will have an opportunity to explore at MIT. Some of the events that will be offered include the President’s Convocation and panels addressing various aspects of MIT life, including academics, health and safety, student life, and athletics. You are also invited to our annual Jazz Night event on Sunday, August 25 where you will have the opportunity to meet other parents and families and ask questions of some of the administrators who specifically support programming for first-year students. You will also have a chance to talk with Parent Connectors (parents of current MIT undergraduates) and upperclass students.
