Orientation

Information on Orientation for the Class of 2028 will be available May 1, 2024.

During and leading up to Orientation, you will explore academic options, learn about MIT Residence Life and other student life programs, and meet your Orientation Leaders and new classmates. Orientation includes Pre-Orientation Programs (FPOPs) offered right before the official beginning of Orientation. You’ll also register for your first semester of classes and participate in various special orientation events and programs designed to introduce you to life at MIT.
