First-Year Interfaith Network & Dialogue (FIND)
Do you love big questions and wow moments? Whether you’re committed to a spiritual path, certain that you’re not religious, or exploring what you believe and practice, FIND is a great place for you to start your journey at MIT. Led by the Chaplain to the Institute and staff from the Office of Religious, Spiritual, and Ethical Life, the FIND pre-orientation program offers:
- Connections with a diverse group of fellow first-years and student mentors from the Addir Interfaith Dialogue Fellows program.
- Conversations with interfaith chaplains and Humanities faculty.
- Opportunities to encounter the incredible variety of human religious and spiritual practices, with a community that respects your own perspective.
- Fun outings around Boston and time for rest and reflection.
- Tasty meals that match your dietary needs and a schedule that supports Muslim prayer times, Shabbat, and other observances.
