Staff Associate, Advising and New Student Programs
Alex has been a member of the MIT community since 2008 and previously worked with the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP). In the Office of the First Year (OFY) Alex serves as the Staff Advisor to the First Generation and/or Low Income (FLI) student group; advises first year undergraduates; and develops new student programming. Alex holds a BA from Providence College and currently resides in Cambridge, MA with his chocolate labrador retriever Winnipesaukee “Winni”. Outside of work Alex enjoys reading, history, golfing, DIY projects, Boston sports and supporting Arsenal FC.
