Leslie Bottari

Assistant Dean, Advising & New Student Programming

Leslie has been at MIT supporting students since 2000. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from UMASS Lowell and her Masters degree in Higher Education Administration from Northeastern University. She loves engaging with our undergraduates through advising, programming and the Associate Advisor Program. Originally from Puerto Rico, is fluent in Spanish yet can’t tolerate the heat and humidity. She and her husband (Joe) and daughter (Sydney) live in Arlington, about 15 minutes from campus. She loves cities and their architecture, and feels grateful to view the Boston skyline regularly. Barcelona is her dream city. When she can, Leslie listens to opera, reads and sometimes writes, historical fiction and has fun thrifting and watching football with Joe.
