AA Checklist

Use this page to keep track of the steps for becoming an associate advisor and the dates for the required orientation and advising meetings. 

• March 3: Deadline to submit the Associate Advisor application
• March 10-14: Group interviews for new applicants
• April 1: Notifications of selection emailed to applicants
• April 7: Contract Submit by this deadline when selected
• April 27: New AA Orientation – 7:00 PM-8:30 PM [Zoom link will be sent]
• April 27: Return AA Orientation – 8:30 PM-9:30 PM [Zoom link will be sent]
• May – July: UAC matches associate advisors with an advisor
• May – July: Submit Match Agreement once matched with an advisor
• August 24: Orientation for all Associate Advisors
• August 26: Initial Advising Group Meeting
• August 28: Registration meetings with your advisees
