AA Checklist

Use this page to keep track of the steps for becoming an associate advisor and the dates for the required orientation and advising meetings. 

  • March 11. Extended deadline to submit the Associate Advisor application.
  • March 11-15 and 18-22: Interviews for new applicants
  • April 1: Notifications emailed to applicants from bottari@mit.edu.
  • April 28: New AA Orientation – Zoom link will be sent
  • May 5: Return AA Orientation – Zoom link will be sent
  • May 6: Contract must be submitted by this deadline once notified that you have been selected.
  • May – July.  The UAC will match you with an advisor. If you have made prior arrangements to work with an advisor you can submit the Match Agreement.
  • August 26: Orientation for all Associate Advisors
  • August 27: Initial Advising Group Meeting
  • August 29: Registration meetings with your advisees
