Food Resource Guide

While MIT students have a wide variety of food options on and off-campus, not all options work for all students. This guide is intended to help students navigate these choices, learn about additional options and connect them to resources if they are even in need of a meal.

Cook for Yourself Communities

MIT offers five residence halls with cook for yourself communities; Burton Connor, East Campus, MacGregor, New House, Random Hall. MIT students have compiled a Cook For Yourself kitchen guide to each of these communities addressing kitchen setup, supplies provided, and access.

MindHandHeart Student Cookbook

Whether you are living in a cook for yourself community or have a meal plan you will probably end up cooking for yourself at some point during your undergraduate career. Learn what other MIT students are making and learn how to make it yourself by checking out the MindHandHeart Student Cookbook.
