I would like to start making summer travel arrangements – what date will my student need to be on campus?
We strongly discourage families from making travel arrangements before they have confirmed their student’s arrival date. Depending on a variety of factors, including athletics, international status, and FPOP participation, arrival dates will vary, and students cannot arrive on campus before their specified arrival date.
For families looking to make summer vacation plans, you should plan to hold the last 2 ½ weeks of August for possible MIT orientation activities.
